Emergency Brake!!!!

yo wassup i recently had a big race last night on the freeway when i noticed this. after the race me and my boyz stop at a local mcdonalds parkin lot and i when i applyed my hand brake it didnt work, it would just go all the way up and not hold. now my friend told me that the hand brake cable snaped or it broke is this true can somone tell me?,..... and if it is is it a bi** to fix or cost alot of money .. if anyone knows anything please get back to me with the info please!!!!!

if it did snap i dont think it will be that hard to fix it might just need some tighning or something, im not too sure, hope u get it fixed soon so u can do donuts and other things.

i too have a question i just thaught of, is there a way when u pull the hand brake it will not lock in place, it would just go back down. thanks

For the first question, if it's not holding then take the drum cover off and and get in there and find out why it's not's holding. Get a manual and figure it out.

As for the second question, even if you could, why would want to do it? Great for fishtails but try parking in an incline again. You'll effecivlely lose all use of it.

thats tru if i do park on an incline but i would rig it so i could just put something under it to keep it engaged, but that would be a pain in the ass, guess i wont be able to park on an incline

Here's a cheap solution, use lots of masking tape to hold the button down.
