How do I change the fan belt on my JGC 98?

My 98 JGC Ltd has decided to give up its current relationship with its long-time partner---the raggedy fan belt. I mean, it's way beyond squeky now: it sounds like Ashlee Simpson during the BCS halftime show. And for those of you who have seen and lived through that experience, you know its inhumane.
Now, I've never done this sort of thing before, but how do I replace it? I can see on the diagram which flywheel I need to move. The problem is I don't know how to nudge it. Some cabbies here in New York City offered to help me out--for free--but when I saw one of them pulling out a long metal rod from the trunk of his cab, I said, On second thought, let me consult my pals at AF.
So, my ever-competent and helpful friends, lend me your assistance one more time, if you will.
Any links to schematics, detailed descriptions, technical advice, tips on how to convince cabbies that their passengers value their lives and that the city of New York is not the Dhakar Rally will be greatly appreciated.

Re: How do I change the fan belt on my JGC 98?

what engine 4.0, 5.2, 5.9?

5.2L/5.9L have an auto tension adjuster located on the passenger side of the engine in front of the Ignition coil. use a 15mm wrech on the bolt and turn Clock-wise and hold to loosen tension while pulling the belt off of one of the pulleys.

4.0L engines have an adjuster under the Power Steering Pump you have to loosen (turn counter-clockwise) the bolt to loosen the tension.
