I drive a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado black V-6 automatic 4.3 liter with flowmaster, kenwood head untit, 2 kicker 10' subs, with a kicker zr240 amp, a set of infinity 605cs componets, and about to put headers, intake, and already ordered the hypertech programmer. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about my truck and what works best for lowering not slammed but about a 2 and 4 drop and the best and cheapest ways to spped it up. Thanks

Nice truck you got there man.
Why do you want to lower it? Why not rather make it a lil higher? |

I want to lower it a little bit because it will look better than if I raise it up. Remember it is not a 4x4 so i would feel like a loser having a jacked up truck without four wheel drive. but thanks for the compliment

Yes, since 1999 they brought out the V-6 4.3 liter. Have you never really heard of it? I hope you are joking......

I have the same engine in my 98 silverado. I recently installed a cat-back system, intake, and a throttle body spacer. There is only one problem. The throttle body spacer whistles and it bothers me. sounds like there is some thing wrong. there sales clerk at the store I bought it from told me it whistled and there was nothing wrong. I'm just trying to find a way to make it stop. I still want to keep it but if anyone knows a way to make it stop whistling it would be much apprieciated. Please e-mail me at [email protected]
