I think my power steering pump has gone out although i'm sure how to tell... my steering it extremely tight and i can barely turn my car.. there doesn't seem to be any odd noises. if someone can help me out with this it would be great!

It may just need to have the belt tightened. It could also just be low on fluid.

the fluid level is fine, it's completely full.. that's the first thing i checked... i really hope it's just a belt

could be several things..your valves in your rack could be sticking...bad pump...clogged filter...does it do it once the car warms up...if its only tight when cold I would lean towards your rack...let me know about the cold issue and I will tell you haw to flush it to "maybe" correct this issue

it's still tight once warmed up... i don't know if it has anything to do with my steering problem but the front driver side wheel, even before all this steering stuff happened, was making a grinding noise, kinda like the brakes rubbing against rotors would sound... i don't know if the brakes are going bad or if it's the joint or if it might have something to do with the steering but it's still making the noise.
