SLR Suspensions

Has anyone dealt with SLR and added a suspension system from them yet? I would like to see a photo of the leaf pack they have and find out how it now rides with that in place as opposed to the factory one. It would also be nice if you have a winch and the torsion bars. I am getting ready to lift mine and am considering either the SLR lift or the A/C lift. I also would like to know about the diff drop. How does it clear skid plates? Do you have some photos of that so I can see how it fits? If anyone can help me here, I would appreciate it. I have to replace my torsion bars because of adding the winch bumper and winch in Phase 5 and I have to replace the spring pack in the rear because of my air locker installed in Phase 3.

BTW, has anyone else had problems with wheel hop after installing either a locker or larger tires in an X with the factory springs? If so, have you done anything to cure it? Also, those of you who are adding leaves and shackles, has it made the problem worse or better? Thanks.

ummmm... ian?

Ian just did his review on them, and the photo of the rear springpack makes it look like quite a monster. Ask him for details.

As these guys just said, Ian has their stage 3 kit.

Pikachu also has their spring pack and it is NICE - I rode around with him after they were installed and they are nice and smooth.

I haven't had any wheel hop problems. My ride is better now with the AAL than it was before them.

Thanks for your help. Ian's write-up was awesome. Although I do need to drop him a note and see how the follow-up goes on some of the problems. He indicated a vibration problem in 2WD with the hubs engaged that could prove a problem for me since my travels in the NE require me to drive a great deal with the hubs engaged. I just want to be sure that most of the bugs are worked out so it will be pretty painless. The nice thing is that the diff drop requires removal of the diff, which is perfect since I need to drop in the air locker at the same time.
