1998 Windstar 3.8L IMRC part #?

Greetings:

I have managed to troubleshoot my van's problem (thanks to info on this forum) and it would appear to need a new IMRC actuator.

My Question (s)?:

1. How does Ford describe these parts and how do they differentiate the rear and front actuators (I need the front one)?

2. Does anyone have a part #?

3. Are these available aftermarket or only OEM?

Thanks in advance. These forums are a great source of information!

Stan

i had the same problem about 6 months ago, blown diaphram on the imrc, front one as well. Part # F65Z*9S514*CC, had to get from ford, about $250, you will also have to buy the gaskets for the intake manifold. also buy the plastic insert for the IMRC about $5. if you look at the motorcraft website you can probably get it cheaper there, very easy job to do, go ahead and clean the ports when you have the intake manifold off . use the haynes manual step by step will tell you how to proceed. i took pictures of the before and after, what a difference. i since have had to replace the IAC, MAF, DPFE, VSS. Good luck
