if i put a cattman y-pipe on my car, will i be able to keep the stock y-pipe, or is it not able to be put back on? Also, can i turn in my car with a aftermarket y-pipe on, or do i have to put the stock one back on?

oh no
you know, i heard that y-pipes are illegal on the streets and that your car will not past the suspection test if you have it on. Ever thought of a b-pipe?:bandit:

Y-pipe
If my car is less then 3 years old, then it doesnt have emmisions inspection, right? What is a B pipe, and who makes one for maximas?

Yeah you can put the stock ypipe on. Also, there is a chance that it'll pass California State Emissions with the ypipe, but sometimes they do fail.

Get the Y-pipe
Though I didn't feel much from the installation of the Y-pipe, it doesn't make sense to get the B-pipe without the Y-pipe since the B-pipe comes after the Y-pipe...the whole point of getting the Y/B-pipe is to free up the exhaust by removing some of the folds/bends in the stock pipes (correct?)...so if you get the B-pipe without the Y-pipe, the limiting factor becomes the Y-pipe. Perhaps I'm wrong...
