12" SoloBaric L7 VS. REaudio SE 12"

Ok, my cousin and I have this kinda deal going to see who can have the best bass, ya know, friendly competion. He is running a 12" SoloBaric L7 with a 400W Rockford Fosgate in a sealed box. My soon to be setup is an SE 12" with a Profile CA600 or something higherpower, HA1000 (if that is the right number) in a ported box tuned to ohhh say 28hz at 2.5cuft. Im just wondering how they stack up to eachother, this is something I have been wondering about. I assume my SE 12" is gonna be better, but I just want someone who knows what the hell they are talking about opinion....

-Thanks

28hz isnt necessarily for real loud bass, its more SQ cause it will be bottem heavy. I'm gunna say the L7 will get louder, but the SE will sound alot better.

Well, depends on the vehicle and the actual implementation of the install. Stick with a 32hz tuning, you'll like it...it'll go low...and it'll be loud!

Figured the L7 would be louder, but if I just wanted loud, I woula bought some 'Bahns and set those up......

So ngsm...I should just go a 2 cuft and a 32hz box?...(with my future SE 12")

Yup! It'd be an excellent enclosure...I got you PM
If you wanted a little extra low end ease...and you have the room 2.5 cubes NET would be delicious. If not, 2cubes net will still sound great!

You dummy...if he's trying to beat out some1 else he doesn't want to go with a lower tuning. He needs to go with a "higher" tuning like 32-34hz which will still have great SQ. peace
