ecu does not want to release errors!!

im driving a multech,1600 (1993)cadete! an engine fault came on and when i tried to short the 10 pin plug, it did not flash out its complaint....any ideas guyz? even tried to turn my ignition 30times to clear it, the ecu error light did not go out?

Hello Mate
sounds to me like the problem is present, like the problem reoccurs as soon as you try to clear. you may need to try to fault find by using pin data, repair the fault then clear the light.
