Can I put a supercharger in a 1991 LE?
Hey whats up im new here,
I had a 94 Intrepid with the 3.5 in it. I love that car but if anyone else has ever dealt with a mid 90's intrepid they know the problems with the tranny's in those things, mine went out and so I bought a 1991 Bonneville off my aunt for damn cheap, it's only got 88k on it. It's quicker than the intrepid? I think it is, it has a much smoother ride so maybe thats why theres not really a noticable difference. Anyway, im wondering, if I got to a boneyard and buy a supercharger off a 3800, can I just simply bolt that on mine? Is there a certain year of 3800 i'll need to get it off?(granted I know below 2000) Are there any other parts i'll need to take off too? I love the "Family Sedan Sleeper" style cars that'll blow the doors off everyone in their imports. I just want to make this one even quicker. Any help is greatly appriciated, if theres no way to do so could someone tell me why? |

NO will not work at all from any year. You need new transmission most likely, new engine, new harness, and new pcm. Much cheaper to get a SSEi for a couple grand that runs decent.
