1999 Montana Radio Reception

All of a sudden, the radio reception on my van sucks. I can't pick up anything but one or two strong stations. I found the antenna connection to the windshield antenna above the rear view mirror, and everything appears fine there. I can't seem to find an easy way to get to the back of the radio to check the antenna cable there.
Anyone else have this problem?
Anyone know how to get to the back of the radio easily?

This may sound dumb but.....
I have a 2001 I just bought and it had bad radio reception.. I looked
for everything under the sun.. I was going to pull the center dash out to look behing the radio.. what a pain... I started unscrewing the center piece out (the one where you pull the little door down to store cds) and I happen to notice a little toggle switch screwed to the top of the little compartment on the inside.. I would of never saw it if I wasnt upside down... it just said off and on and all it is just a little bity toggle switch.. so I turned it on and off and on... and nothing happen.. so I turned my radio on and then turned the switch on and then I could pick up most of my radio stations... I have no ideal what it is.. but it seams to work for my radio problems,

and then while I was messing around in there I found a DC to AC converter.. I wonder what this thing goes to?

and futher more I found a Nintendo game adapter under the passanger seat.. but i cant figure how to get it to work on the T.V.

I'm guessing you found the FM transmitter that allows your Montana Vision to broadcast to an FM station so it will play on your speakers?
