One problem

The oil pan bolt on my Eclipse is stripped. The threads internally are stripped not the head of the bolt. I was not able to get it off no matter what I tried and I used a bunch of techniques. Such as vice grip, pipe wrench, screwdrivers you name it I tried it. All I want to know is:

Is it possible to drill a hole through the oil pan bolt? If yes I assume that there would be no sparks or risk of fire, just metal shavings.
IF NOT
Could I get the Oil out another way like, sticking a tube down the oil dipstick and using suction to get it out?
IF NOT That
I am open to any suggestion but I would just like to know about the drilling.

Re: One problem

if the threads internally are stripped then the plug will fall out. explain why you think the threads are stripped? does the plug turn?

The only reason i could see you might drill it out would be if you broke the head off the bolt...other than that, drilling is a no-no.
