Know what the Gloria will be called?

I read that Nissan/Infiniti will be importing the Gloria to the US, and I assume it will be under the Infiniti brand. I also assume they will give it an alpha-numeric designation

Anyone know what the Gloria will be called? I wish the Japanese companies would stop trying to copy the German model names and go back to word names. They give the models so much more peronsality. Where have you gone Legend, Integra, Cefiro, etc?

name of the Gloria in america

It's gonna be called the Infiniti M45, with a 4.5 l engine pumping 280 hp, yeah baby, time to eat some CL-S and TL-S. Sorry to reply so late by the way, I just saw this post. I wish they can bring the Gran Turismo version over, that turbo engine looks pretty good, mmmmmm.

280 hp? Try the exact same engine as the Q, with more aggressive gearing and 150lbs. less curb weight. 340hp and 333lb/ft of Torque. Time to eat some 5 Series, at least the 6 cylinders with which it competes (pricewise)

NAh, it won't quite compete with an M5, it will be closer in performance to a 540i Auto. 0-60 in 6 seconds flat, and it pulls .82G That's what I've heard anywyas:bandit:

i dunno, the q45 already does a 5.9 0-60. with less weight and better gearing i'll bet it's around 5.4. too bad it's not as nice looking as the Q though.

Where did you aquire your Glorias? I didn't even know they existed until yesterday and now I'm freaking out. Something about the styling just *flexes*. Very badass. Plus my friend bought a 240 before I could so now I need something else.

I have wanted to get my hands on a Y33 Gloria for sometime now. I work for several company's selling JDM vehicles, and I could realistically get one, but it just doesnt seem worth it. I really just want to get a VQ30DETT engine and drop her in my Z32... But would it fit . If anyone would know, please shoot me at [email protected]. PEACE

Re: Know what the Gloria will be called?

Hey meggala, do you know much about the VG30ET engines that came in the glorias?? I bought one and put it in my Maxima but have never known the specs of the engine. From the little info I've been able to find out the differences between it and the USDM VG30ET are 8.3:1 compression, the t25 turbo, and euro cams. I can't find anywhere what kind of power these things pulled stock. I've heard 210-215 hp since it has the euro cams but I have no clue. If you can help me out that would be sweet. Thanks in advance!

i would think around 210 as well but possibly only 190 I had a list but cant find it now the turbo is bigger than the rb series and should be good for 280-300 hp from my experiance. I ahve seen and played with a vg30 det and they are good for 250 hp in single turbo form
cheers
