Taurus 97 making squealing

I am writing you this letter with the hopes that you will be able to tell me what is wrong with my car.
My rear wheels (first on one than the other) started making squealing noise (especially after car just starts moving and after brake has been applied). I have taken it in several garages, but nobody seems to be able to fix it. In one garage they told be that the wheel is blocking and they replaced the caliper. After that replacement, the other wheel started squealing, so they replaced the second caliper. After a month, noise returned, and then I was told to replace rotors and pads at my rear wheels. That did not stop the squealing either. At my last visit they unhooked the hand brake and changed hoses on the rear brakes. Noise is still there. In sum, now I have:
New calipers,
New rotors and pads
New hoses
No handbrake
…And wheels still make a noise.
Is this possible to fix (meaning the noise in the wheels)?

My 97 sometimes makes low rubbing noises (metal on metal type) when it's foggy or rainy out.

More to the point, how much is this costing you to not fix?

I also have the same problem. It only happends when it had been raining or some type of moisture was on them. When I get up to a steady speed though the noise goes away and I don't hear it again until I park it.

That's EXACTLY what happens with me! Any ideas on what causes this?

My guess is that its prob the brake pad rubbing against the rotor. Its kinda annoying when it happends cause it sounds like you have a peice of crap car.
