Question Windhield Washer Pump

I recently picked up a 95 civic and, after inking the deal and signing the paper stating everything worked to my liking and the dealer wouldn't be held responsible for any parts etc... I noticed the windshield washer pump doesn't work.

I checked the fuses and it was fine. I replaced the pump and still nothing. I checked the wire socket and it doesn't appear that power is getting to the pump... Anybody have an similar problems or know where to begin looking for problems? I can trace the wire back to the firewall but feel apprehensive about tearing a bunch of stuff apart to find the problem...

Try running the wire direct to the fuse and see if that works. Also ground the black wire onto metal on the car. If that works then it's something through the wiring that is either cut, touching wires together, or touching metal. Good luck finding the problem.

It was the plug... I ended up bending the connectors a bit, plugged it back in and it works! I must not have grounded my tester properly when I was checking for current... Either that or there was so much dirt and stuff in there I couldn't reach the connectors...

Thanks for your help!
