Hi,

Yes, I found the instruction in an on-line handbook.

Press the on/off button for 10 seconds, the display should flash.

Drive round in 2 complete circles.

It doesn't say what to do after that

I hope this helps

I'm guessing this didn't work?

I'll give it a try too!

Thanks,

MC

I don't know, I haven't checked it against a GPS or compass since.

Good luck

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Compass Calabration

Ok, used my brain and went digging throught the manual that came with the truck. Found some instructions for setting the compass based upon where you live. Apparently it needs some correction for your location.

You press the button on the compass/temp display for 5 seconds, a number should appear on the screen showing what area the compass is set for currently. Your owners manual should have a map with the areas and the corosponding numbers. I live in Ohio for instance and the number is 9 for my area. You change the number by pressing the compass/temp display button until your area's number comes up, once set to your area just let the display change back to the compass/temp display on its own, voilia, your compass is set.

If you need to know what you area's number is just drop me a message and I'll look it up for you.

Scott
