Red face life is over... kill me... its the end of the world... life sucks...

the list goes on forever and i've been reduced to tears.

i rear ended a friend of mine tonight when he stopped out of nowhere. i am seeking comfort from the community because i am devastated. i was following my friend's jetta, we passed some kids walking in the street... i looked in my left side mirror, looked back, and smack... i hit his back bumper on an angle.

my corner light, right projector headlight, front bumper, right front quarter, and hood are fucking done. i have no money at all. i can't believe this. i get a big fuckin mess 3 days before my birthday. i can't believe this. it looks so bad. my car will never be the same. why did he have to stop. why couldn't i stop? why did i have to hit him and get my shit fucked up. i need to cry.

theres a pair of black skidmarks and a pile of beautiful clear glass in the road.

the only thing this does, is make it almost a need to buy new shit. c/f hood, z3fenders. but i'm broke with a shit job!@~#

if anyone has sites that offer the parts i need really cheap, please help me out. i'm turning to you guys for a little comfort and moral support. everytime i look at my car or pics i want to cry. seriously

no collision coverage. but, i've done a little browsing. new projectors, new corners, new c/f hood, new z3 fenders and new front bumper just over $1000. adn these arn't OEM so i'd imagine that'd be cheaper then having a body shop rape me. and idea how much i'd cost to paint the mentioned parts?

Hey bro, sorry to hear this. I just looked at the pics. The damage doesn't seem that bad. at least the car is drivable. until you can fix it.

But look at it this way, at least you are not hurt. (physically)

But it's not that bad. I crashed my car last year, bad. I felt like such an idiot after. I bet you felt extra stupid because he was a friend of yours... but I guess I'm not making you feel any better.... but it's not that bad!!!

You DON'T have collision??? And what did you expect to happen if you hit someone?? I'd never have anything other than full coverage for things like this. And dude seriously, that's nothing. Earlier this year I smacked someone head on. Cost over $3000 in damages to hood, fender, bumper, rad support, ect. Get full coverage and work slowly to fix it.

There is a huge difference in rates between full coverage and no collision coverage. especially for a 16 year old kid.

my mom has no insurance.. drives company car
her b/f has none either, drives on dealer plates. he is a dealer. owns auto shop.
and that leaves me with my own policy.

too much liability for the business... and that also wouldn't help damages.

There's also a huge difference in having the insurance company pay for you, and having to total or sell the car as is cause you don't have enough money to fix whatever you get into.
