Lookie what my hunny brought home :)

Alex brought this home for me the other nite. I have been wanting to get one and had been waiting for their release:

I also have a 1/64 (in package) hanging on my bulletin board in my office at work. Alex has a whole roomful of Muscle Machines and has been collecting over the last year or so. He even got his hands on a few raw models. Just thought I would share.

Thats awesome, Kat. Im a collector of 1:18 and 1:24 scale Die-Casts and I have around 15 of them now. I love them cause they look great and are a great addition to my plastic model kits. Unfortionatly I havent seen any of the "Muscle Machines" around here, or I would be buying them right now. Im guessing theres a bunch of different ones? Maybe an Impala, or a Vette, or even some of the Dodge muscle cars.

Id love to pick up a bunch of them. Maybe ill do a little on-line shopping today.

Its cool to see that there is atleast 1 other person out there that likes these collectibles

No, NSX, sorry...they only do American cars. I know Hot Wheels has a few 1:18 diecast imports....I saw a Civic in the same shop where Alex got this.

Hummer, I believe they may do Impala's and Dodge's but only anything pre-1975...all the hot rod and "classic" cars.

Check out www.musclemachines.com

You can get them at (1/64 and 1/18) at Target, Kmart, Walmart and occasionally at Walgreens and auto parts stores. The ones like I show in the pic and that are special additions are available only at hobby/specialty stores.

Also I forgot to include that I have a Johnny Lightning diecast 1/64 of the Austin Powers Shaguar in my office too.

Perfect. Im a sucker for the old classics and American muscle. I already have a few imports (Civic Si, RX-7,Audi TT) but theyre not my style. I have alot of Domestics, but mostly only newer ones.

Thx for the link

The only one of those stores that we have is Walmart....hmm. I hate going there as its ALWAYS so busy, but it would be worth it if they had some. Im not looking for special editions, just maybe the Cuda,Camaro,Stang, hell I want all of them

I got Alex a '70 Cuda and a '66 Mustang for Christmas. The only thing about going to Walmart is that since they are in the toy section, some packages may get damaged from kids handling them/tossing them to the ground. But we have had good luck finding most in decent condition.
