1994 3.2l wont start/ stay running
I have a 1994 Rodeo 3.2l 4x4 automatic. I filled it up with gas and noticed about two minutes later that it did not want to idle very well, would sputter and almost die at stop lights. Also when I drove nome it had very little power. When I got home and let it cool down it would not restart at all. It would occasionally run for about five seconds but would die reagardless of whether the gas pedal was pushed. I checked the OBd and it had no codes( also no cel light), replaced the fuel filter, checked the timing belt and all vacuum and gas line. It still does not want to run. It just turns over coughs and backfires a little. I am basically out of ideas as to what to check next. Could it be something in the intake manifold or a computer problem? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Re: 1994 3.2l wont start/ stay running
Check your battery voltage, and check your battery connection and ground points. If the battery is low, it most like means your alt is bad.

If it backfires that would seem to indicate fuel is there.Sounds like it is out of timing .You might try coil pack or computer..or GM
sign in grill. Just kidding about sign. Keep us posted..
