AE86 Threw a Rod Please Help
My friend just threw a rod in his 1986 Corolla. He has the SR5 model but looks at this as an opportunity to do a motor swap. He knows the swaps in an SR5 are a bitch, so that's where the question comes in. He wants to do the 16valve 4AG, but a 20 Valve will probably be easier to find. He lives in Tempi Arizona, the Pheoniz area, and he needs to know of any shops that can help with the swap and even a place to get motors. He's new to the area and knows it's a newbie question but he does need his car for work and knows it would take him too long to do the swap himself. Thanks anyone for the help.

Your local to SD county right? I have a 20Valve for sale. Well, it's actually my buddies. I think he wants $400 for it. Motor only, needs ITBs, distributor, and ECU. Email me at [email protected] if you are interested.

It needs to be local to Pheonix Arizona. I'm not the one who needs it. My friend in Arizona does. I really have no way of getting it to him. The main question I have is are there any shops in the Pheonix area that can put the 20 valve or 16 valve motor into a 1986 Toyota Corolla SR5.
