Re: turbo manifold

you will need a half rad or a rad from a 92-95 civic. Does his del sol have a D series or b? you could use a STD mani and make a adapter plate

that manifold wont bolt up to your head. an std manifold is off of an 88-91 civic standard (std) you can also use the manifold from the 88-91 crx hf or a civic cx (again 88-91). you will have to make an adapter plate to bolt the turbo to the manifold but its a lot cheaper than getting a quality aftermarket manifold. Heres the adapter plates and how to make them. And heres the homepage of that site.

Re: turbo manifold

Wouldn't a '92-'95 CX and VX manifold work as well? I mean is it a different bolt pattern or something?
I know you can use those on a '92+ D-series motor the same way as the STD or HF manifolds.

Re: turbo manifold

don't put a t3/t4 on a crx it spools up real slow go with a t/28 it will be alot of fun with quick ass spoolling.

Re: turbo manifold

good luck finding parts for the t28 to work....you're gonna have to go the all custom route.
Or, you can just go with the t3...much better

Re: turbo manifold

wait wait, are you guys saying use the stock manifold and putting a turbo on it? i was just asking because i don't see how it will hold that heat without cracking. My mitsu glows red if you are getting on it kinda hard. I think you should just get a cutsom one and be done.

Re: turbo manifold

Theres nothing wrong with using those stock manifolds for diy turbos. Its been done sooo many times and i have yet to hear any serious problems.
As for you kmak, you need to word your questions better dude if you were asking about radiators. lol. to answer your question though, I would definitly go ahead and get a 92-95 radiator though or else your bound to have clearance issues.
