Need help on header install 911

i posted this in the integra forum but didn't get any help....

hey guys my DC sports CC 4-2-1 header just arrived and i want to install the bastard this weekend...... it is probably not as simple as just bolting it up...... i've heard that you have to do something with the o2 sensor..... relocate? ......also since the car is a 96 there is probably some rusting where the stock header connects to the cat converter.... will i need a torch???

can someone give me detailed instructions on how to install the header including any possible problems i might run into.... or if someone has a link somewhere where there is a good explanation. that would be great thanx.

its actually quite easy to install. now i dont know how you feel about getting burnt but it will be easier to break the bolts if the manifold is still hot. a little liquid wrench or some equiv and a breaker bar used with finess and they should come off. the holes for the o2 sensors should be pretty straight forward just make sure you dont drop them or grind them off anything when they are out and remember to put some anti-sieze on the threads when you put them back in just in case you have to replace one it will be easier to get out. when you torque the header down to the head go from the inside out. start at the middle nut and work your way out. do the middle then the nut closest to the left then the nut closest to the middle on the right and back and forth. remember to check them after a couple miles to to see if they are torqued down good after some use. dont forget to take the donut gasket off the old manifold at the cat and put it on your new one.

i do believe c-speed racing has a step by step but this is a new puter so i dont have the address. ask civsiguy i think he has one bookmarked.

your o2 sensor should be the only thing with wires on your header. just unbolt it from the stock one and put it on the new one. As far as relocating, maybe your DC has the spot for it farther down the pipe than your stock, but I'm not familiar with your manifold. worse comes to worse you may have to lengthen the wire.
