Tire size 2wd 92 1500 sierra 15"

I have a 92 GMC Sierra 1500 long bed. The standard size tire is a 235-75-15. They look very small on the truck. They are about 28" tall. I would like to put a taller tire (maybe wider) on the truck but don't want them to look too big or rub. The next jump seems to be a 265-75-15 which are much taller. Would 30x9.50 15 look good on the truck? What about 265-70-15's. I want a sporty look but not sure what tire would work. A 28 inch tire just looks too small in that fenderwell to me. Any advice would be appreciated.
