1994 blaser rain water leak

I have a rain water leak on the fire wall of a 1994 blazer. i have had the car to the dealer and nobody can find the leak. I have removed the cowlling and cleaned out any leaves etc and checked that the drain holes are clear. The water accumulates under the carpet on the drivers side. I am wondering if this problem has happened to anyone else, and if anyone one has any suggestions as to where the leak might be. I would be most greatfull for any help in finding the possible cause of this leak.

I think i solved the problem of the water leak in my 1994 blazer. About a month ago my windshield cracked, upon having it replaced the installer told me that the adhesive had deteriorated and that the windshield had nothing holding it in place. The water must have run down the inside trim and down the fire wall onto the floor pan. A month later after a couple good rain falls no sign of the leak. GM must have used a bad adhesive during those years of production.

How long has it been doing it for? Do you have snow where you are?

It has been leaking water for about 3 years. We do get snow in our area. It seams to leak during the rain. I don't think it is comming through the heater. Thanks airforceone.

Re: 1994 blaser rain water leak

It appears we have the same problem. I have a 1995 s-10 blazer that collects water on the driver-
side floor pan. I have a friend at work with a 89'
s-10 blazer, same problem. If we manage to figure
this out I will let you know, til then I'll continue to
monitor this page, and hope someone else has an
answer
