Who Owns A Muscle Car?
I am building a 1965 Shelby Cobra clone with a 427 chevy engine. does anyone know if Edelbrock or any other good manufacturers make 650cfm carbeuretors with large throttle bodies? also, does anyone know where to get a vortech supercharger in Canada?

Re: Who Owns A Muscle Car?
Define "large throttle body". FWIW, ONE 650 isn't NEARLY enough for a performance-oriented 427 Chevy, blower or no blower... It takes at least 2.

2 carbs? what about just a larger cfm rating? if i were to put, for example, twin turbos with air-to-air intercool, and one four-barrel, would that not be enough? i appreciate your help, BTW. thanks.

Re: Who Owns A Muscle Car?
For a "blow through" carb, use an AED 1050 Dominator on an Edelbrock Super Victor. Be sure to tell them at AED, it's for a blower motor.
Keep your LSA kinda broad (114ish). Keep your compression ratio under 9:1. Make sure the heads are rectangular port and have been cleaned up and flowed for "balance" (all 8 intake ports equal). I can go on and on... Call me or something. www.centralvirginiamachine.com Jim |
