Ok guys I have a girl auestion for you :) I have a 99 S-10 Blazer 2 wheel-drive that I would like to make look like a 4 wheel drive. Is there anything that I can do or have done to make it seem BIG. Right now its stock everything.
Just wondering Court

Re: Total girl question
Bigger tires, lift etc...
But remember, you fuel economy will take a real BIG dive for the worse.

Re: Total girl question
I am with these guys - shop around for what is needed to do a complete, professional job, and you can make the truck look gorgeously agressive. Larger tires, suspension and body lifts, alternate fenders if needed - body kits, tinting, etc. When you move up to larger tires, you need to get your rear axle gear ratios changed too. Otherwise, the vehicle is not really going to perform well and it will just eat your lunch on engine and transmission wear.
And like the other guys said, whenever you go up in tire sizes and lift the body, this makes room for more air to move under the truck, especially at highway speeds. This increases drag and wears off a bit of your gas mileage. Typically every inch of lift can cut about 5% or so off of fuel economy - forgot where I picked that factoid up, but I read it somewhere when doing a full off-road conversion on an older Jeep. (3 inch lift, Rancho suspension and steering damper, dropped Pittman arm, 31" BFGoodrich All-Terrain A/T's, matched axle/gearbox ratios front and rear - still worked great on and off-road with about a 10% shave off of fuel economy. Jeeps are bricks on 4 wheels just like our Blazers!) |

Bigger is better. Why make it "look" bigger, when you could "have" bigger?
Same problems with the men in your life?

i agree when ur BIG 2 wheel drive truck is stuck in the snow or mud it wont look so big then, keep it a 2wd look. big tires kill gas milage!

I'm actually going to downsize my 225-75R15 tires to 205-75R15 as it calls for on the door plate. Maybe I'll squeeze out another 1-2 mpg.
GM does some pretty good testing figuring out what the "best" tire size is for each vehicle.

A cheap bodylift and zr2 wheels would probably hurt performance BUT it would look cool if people don't make fun of the 2wd thingy. I wouldn't make fun of you if you did it yourself
