a/c haze and odor
I have a 2000 Windstar. It has, all of the sudden started to produce a fog when the a/c is in use. I dismissed this as a high humidty problem, but it won't stop. Now there is an odor associated with it as well. Can anyone fill me in on this?

Re: a/c haze and odor
This isn't a Windstar forum, this is a Nissan Xterra forum.
Yes, high humidity can make it "fog" a bit, turn the recirculate mode on and it will likely stop, my Honda does the same. The smell is probably just mold/mildew/etc. from the moisture left in the system when it's shut down. Turn the A/C off but leave the fan on high with recirculate mode off for a minute or so before you arrive at your destination (or a minute or so before you shut down anyway) and it will help.
