fujimi toyota mr2 aw11

hey everyone,

I just bought the above kit and Ive almost finished building it. Ive noticed theres alot of extra parts that come in the parts tree, and I was wondering if anyone knew what they were for. I think one part is to put an electric motor in.......but I cant seem to figure the rest out. Any help would be great.

don't worry about extra crap that comes with Fujimi kits. My MKIII came with some battery holders and an extra set of seats as well as other random crap. I think these were intended to be motorized.

Re: fujimi toyota mr2 aw11

My AE86 Levin(Fujimi) came with a bullbar, 3 steering wheels, 4 fog lamp surrounds and covers, two pieces which I am unsure as to what they are(my guess is it's a fuel cell, but I'm probably wrong), 1 seatbuckle assembly(no belt though), antenna(sp), 3 front seats, and an entire sprue from a Nismo GTR, which included an intercooler, 2 bucket seats, and a muffler. Go figure

Well I still have no idea what they are, so I guess Fujimi just puts in lots of random parts in some of their kits. Maybe they should tell us what they could be used for (Mr Fujimi, where are you).

Re: fujimi toyota mr2 aw11

Well, it's not that random. They just have so many variations of kits out that it's cheaper to make the plastic parts than make more molds. The AE86 kit has many extra parts to make it a race version.

Re: fujimi toyota mr2 aw11

I understand that I dont have to use the parts, and that they are not random. The thing is, on previous kits I could figure out what they were for, but these ones have left me clueless. I guess I will just put them in my parts box until I find a use for them.
