94 Explorer stock alarm
When I reconnect the battery the Alarm goes all crazy and I have to have the remote to turn it off. Recently, I lost my keys with the remote and the battery died and I had to drive home 8 miles with the alarm going crazy. Is their any way to prevent the alarm from going bannas when something happends to the battery with out messing up my actual alarm system? Oh ya, I found my keys with the remote but can someone still please Help?

Ok I was looking underneath the driver's side dash and strapted to the steering wheel colum their was a little box that had a red blinking light and a little white turn knob, anyone with a 94' Explorer with the stock alarm and know whats the knob for please please reply
