92 3.1 lumina tcc solenoid help

does any one know where this is located so i can either change is or unplug it so that i can get back to driving it on the high way agian please help

If you have the 3 speed auto is on the tranny case under the air box 2 or 3 wires going into it. If you got the 4spd you can unplug it.

On my Corsica it is under the air breather assy., which should be on the right (drivers) side of your engine compartment. Luminas are pretty similar in design so should be in same place. remove air filter cover, then filter, then one bolt holds down the filter holder. You should see a 4-pin connector under there you can unplug. I don't have a manual here on Luminas but I think I am right.

You look at the fusebox? Some have a TCC fuse. That's sometimes the easiest way. Other than that, you should be looking for a 4-prong plug, in square arrangement going into the front of the trans case. May be obscured by airbox, as they said.
