I got one a couple of weeks ago. I put it on 3 days after putting on my Thorley Headers, and also the same day I put on a MSD Coil & Wires. So it was hard to tell just what the PC added. I read in Car Craft an article where they put it on a 93(I think), dynoed it and got a true 8hp.
Also I cut the bottom of the air cleaner to the same size as the PC, only makes sence. The theory is that our TBI acually suck air in from the sides because of the injectors being right over the throtle holes, so if you widen the spacer (PC is same width at base but like 1"-2" wider at top) you get more air flow which = more HP. The power increase according to the dyno chart that came with it, adds midrange HP not off the line power. So your not going to notice much if you want that seat of the pants feel. I would recommend it though, anything that can help these motor breathe more/better is a good thing.
