Question Floppy Disc problem

Ok i have lots of pics/files saved on my disc. It always worked till now it says it needs to be reformatted? If i do that its goin to lose all my files and i really need them. Can someone tell me if theres a way to fix this? Maybe its my computer?

Re: Floppy Disc problem

Try running a scan disk on it. And a defragment. Other than that, data recovery specialists start at $60/h. Email me if you would like a quote.

Restart in safe mode if you need to. $60/h is nothing.

How large are your files? You can try saving it on your SD card, memory stick, mp3 player, flash-disk or heck...post them on the web. Try www.freewebs.com, they let you use 40mb of free space or 50 files, whichever comes first.

You need to be able to access the files before you can upload them to the internet.

I tried safe mode and it doesn't work. I haven't tried it in a different computer yet. Maybe it'll work?
