Re: subs in my truck bed
im pretty sure what he did was take a cardboard cut out of the box shape and cut out the bedand the cab and he used that expanding foam insulation in a can stuff to help seal and he also used some kind of black weather striping to clean up the way it looks. ive also seen this done at truck shows with regular cabs he actually got the idea to do it when we were in carlisle penn. at the all truck nationals and we saw it on a few trucks and it looked pretty sweet wat the did was bring the front of the box flush with the cab of the truck . do you have a cover on ur bed??

Re: subs in my truck bed
Just use a sub box in the cab.
Do NOT start hack holes into your bed, it will sound like garbage.

Re: subs in my truck bed
no, the subs going through the back of the cab is the professionals prefferd way to do it but i don't trust myself with my new truck enough to try it

Re: subs in my truck bed
Chill there Blazer,if done right,it will rock. That's the key though,DONE RIGHT.What you will hear will be the ports (or vents) coming into the cab, while the subs will be in the bed.The enclosure will have to be built to do this. You can't just take a pre-built box and throw it in the bed and whack a hole through the bed and cab, that wouldn't work.

Re: subs in my truck bed
if done right, it will be good, my cousins 89 was set up that way, but also like i seen mentioned the cab and bed move indipendintly, use a seal of some sort and dont push the bed foward, use dina mat on all lose edjes and rubber on the holes and it will be good, also i recomend a cross member bar across the hole, if your in an accidend, and those thing come flyen up at 50+ mph its gunna hurt like hell if your in the seat when they get there
