I can't stand anything like black metal..death metal etc, i like to understand what they sing.
Black Sabbath... Slayer... Black Label Society... Old/New Metallica... Those are my favs. Yeah alot of people hate metallicas new stuff...i dig it.

King Diamond is pretty good at getting away with using makeup in his music. Of all the reviews I've ever read, nobody ever gives him shit for it. It's cool, King Diamond kicks ass.

If you want good creepy band shots, take a look at the Sehnsucht or Mutter album art from Rammstein.
Those "black metal" shots are just silly.

93Rollaracer...your exactly right, it's mainly the vocals that turn me off.
But being a guitars and bassist for 6 years now, i can respect HOW FAST some of those guys play, it's insane. The hoffman bro's in Deicide-crazy. Or cannibal corpse. Still though, nothing like rythmic pentatonic bluesy/rock solo's like my man Zakk....
