Shaved Plate on EK civic:Rice or not

Topic explains it. I am re-painting me civic and I might shave the plate, ONLY THE PLATE, but i want some opinions first.

and just a thought, it might look a little funny to have that shaved and not your side moldings, I'd do the moldings too

I am painting it electron blue, the paint is in good condition but my dad owns a bodyshop so I have the connections for a free paint job so why let it get wasted

I think I mite just buy some thin JDM moldings because shaving the moldings is A LOT of work and looks kinda fun cuz u loose the nice lines on the side of the car

other things gettin shaved are:
-Antenna (gettin one that is hidden in back window)
-All emblems

Thats all I think
