struts or spare tire?

When i bought my car from the dealership they said that it needed new struts. I think they are full of s%^& , I tightened up the spare tire and took out a license plate cover that was hiding in there and havent heard the rattling noise since...opinions??? thoughts??

If anything i think i just need a new bushing....dunno

Nice they probably heard a noise didnt know what it was and u found it. nice work. and well how does the car ride i think you would be able to tell if struts were bad.

push down on your trunk and if it goes down and come right back up without acting like a bouncy ball... your struts are fine.

yeah i think that they are still full a sh&*...hehe...no we tested them and found out they were fine..my car rides fine..i dont notice anything out of ordinary...?

My sister has a rattle on her 98 and it's her exhaust. The struts noise is common so they probably just though that and couldn't be bothered to look and see! Lazy F*ckers!

they wanted me to pay extra when i bought it for them to fix it. I said i take it as is and fix it myself

also the rear bumper somtimes can vibrate mine did i just tightened the screws down and no more noise common site saggy bumper
