d16z6 idles at 2k rpms

i got a d16z6 with turbo when i start the car it idles at 2k an it never goes down even when i turn on the heater and what not ?? anyone help?

adjust your idle screw... Does the z6 have a FICV? Something might be sticking. My d16a6 always starts at 2krpm when it's cold cuz the FICV but idles down as things warm up. If you don't touch anything, it never idles down at all even when the engine warms up?

hmm doesnt the z6 have a thermo cold start valve or whatever? It has like the wax wick in it? hmm maybe somethings wrong with it? Clean out your iacv also! might help?

yeah it nevers idle down even after it warms up but ill try to clean the iacv thx a lot ill chack back.

could be a vaccum leak check them while ur claening the iacv
