97 eclipse rs worth it?

okayive never posted in a auto forum.But it would be dope if someone could tell me if they would take this deal.A 97 eclipse RS,auto trans,45,000 miles on car.for 4000$

Its a good deal but this isnt a performance question, please move this thread to the eclipse/talon/laser thread instead of performance so every1 can see it.

in your zip the private party blue book value is $5,600 and the retail (from a dealership) is $7,350

these are all base on that its in excelent condition, and condition means everything. if it was in fair condition, meaning minimal rust spots, and a few minor mechanical problems (breaks, exhaust, seals, belts) it would be worth $4600.

lesson learned get a mechanic to look at the car to determine the condition and therefor the cars value.
