ok i want a big front mount (of course who deosnt). BUT the kits are expsensive as hell... so i had the idea to buy a spearco front mount and buy some aluminum pipeing and mandreal bends and put one to gether... but then looking as some of the kits, i though maping it out would be hell on earth... so i thought mabey some one knows where to find a front mount kits for around $$1,500, or know the maping measuremenst and bend degrees for a kit... because lets face it i dont have the patients to do it my self...
so if you know where to get a one for under $2000 or mabey know the maping measurements... could you tell me? that would be nice...

Re: Front Mount Intercooler.
yeah I just found a great thread on 3si a few weeks ago about some guys custom building their own intercooler kits...if you start searching back from last months threads you may be able to find it, and talk to the guys who did it.

Re: Front Mount Intercooler.
well this guy, i bought a greddy boost controller and turbo timer from him on ebay and here is his email:
[email protected] I think he said he can get me Greddy, HKS and some other brands. Just tell him what you want when you email him and he will tell if he can get or not. He is a real good seller. On those greddy stuff he gave me free 2 day shipping and he gives real good reasonable prices. |

i dunno man. you can't be too picky when it comes to finding a FMIC at an affordable price. that dejontool FMIC looks good (although it could be shinier) and the price is killer. If you're looking for a name-brand IC, then you should add at least $500 on top of the dejontool IC.
Also, what does it matter how the IC looks as long as it cools the incoming air? only time you'll see it is through the front bumper. you can always polish the pipes or chrome it out later. but that's just my opinion; i'm for functionality and quality over aesthetics.

Re: Front Mount Intercooler.
true but im sorta shakey about buying stuff from sites unknown to me... the kit looks nice but i dont like how that have the ports set up for the front mount... and the kit from dejontool requires the remoding of the horns char canister and what not... i like the one from speedpartsrus.com i like the 14" tall core they have its a ncie set up... 2 in one out... but the prob is they are out of stock and have been for a while and no telling when they will get more in stock...
