Re: 19 Inch rims"

Beside the fact it would look like a cover wagon. No.
But, I think the highest rim that I would use is a 17".

I would say 18" You don't want to have too much unsprung weight.

Re: 19 Inch rims"

Is one extra inch (18+1) really going to hinder performance to such a massie degree. This car is really big, i though 19's would be appropriate. i want to ride in style. i want there to be no tire left when looking at the car from the side view. I guess this is a amatuer's first mistake.

Re: 19 Inch rims"

Do you mean no wheel gap when looking at the car from the side?? If so, some 17's and a good set of lowering springs would solve that.

My car on stockers w/ held coilovers

Re: 19 Inch rims"

ya i agree- basically if you up your size from stock an dont change the suspension to comply with the new wheel size you handing will see fine but when you rip a turn like you normally would your car will react completely different... if a car has 16"s stock i wouldnt ride more than a 17" because one you really go over 17" the handling starts to deminish reguardless.... take a look at the pro factory series the GT series and Touring - they do not use rims any bigger than 17" sometimes they even use a 15" for say because you can make a mid size wheel handle better than a big ass wheel - if bigger was better which its not in this case - you would see all those racing teams usin like 19"s an + get a nice set of 17"s and or 18"s if your car has 17"s stock an get a nice pro kit or some koni suspension upgrade/lowering springs....

good luck lets us get a look at when ur done with what u gonna do, i am sure we all wouldnt mine having a peek lol
