Fueling Problems
I have a 2004 GMC Yukon XL Denali. It has 20000 miles on it. For the last five months I have had problems fueling it - the backpressure cutoff switch on the pump keeps tripping, even though the tank is not filled. This happens no matter where I buy gas. Has anyone else had this problem?

Ive had the same problems on old 80's chev trucks ive owned in the past, just dont put nozzle in all the way, only have mabey 1/8th to 1/4 of the way in, try that out and let me know if that helped

Too much vapor lock trapped somewhere in your truck's fuel system? I dunno...
Does it happen even if you go to a gas station that has condom-less fuel pump nozzles? |

But if it is closed during fueling you get the same problem with a Porsche. Does anyone know if the Yukon has a similar switch on the tank vents? |

Try fueling at night or when its cool out.
