well, before i start the next step, i'm gonna glue the body together and get it ready for painting and stuff. this kit came with 2 body kits. the veilside one (pictured in my sig) and a not so aggressive one. i've chose to go with the veilside kit.

oh, and before i start the next step (which is the interior), i need help on choosing a color for the car so i can do a little matching with the interior.

oh, and one last thing, should i leave the wing off and paint it separatly or should i glue it on and then do the painting?

thanks

I would give the body a very light coat,(without wing) concentrating on the area where the wing will later on shadow. Then before applying the next coat glue the wing on and spray away! another tip i find helpfull is to glue the side mirrors on the body before any primming/painting starts
goodluck!

ok, well, i've decided to go with a black body and black interior. since i dont have a black car in my collection yet. so, i've just got to put some decals on the interior, then it will go onto the frame. the body is just sitting here waiting to be painted. (i dont have the gloss black spray yet).

and i will try to get some pics up very soon

ok, well the paintin has commenced. i put the first coat on and got a little bubble on the hood. so i'm gonna let is sit for a little while longer and then sand it down. besides the bubble, its looks great

Black is one of the hardest colors to work with because it has a tendancy to bubble. make sure that you do it in very very very light coats.
and is it just me or do all veilside body kits look exactly the same???

Alot of the veilside model kits are of the combat kit which is basiclly the same for all cars, just a few slight changes here and there. They do make some really strange kits as well.
