Cool.

He used to be on a BBS for a team called Velocity, they have a chapter in Oki. Its mostly SOFA guys, with a couple AF mechanics thrown in.

Ever heard of them?

Man, there is a lot of anger around here.....
I got a kid who works for me who does nothing but drift. I will try and get some videos out to you.

BTW, velocity is based out of here, and from what I see they are pretty much just into fixing up their cars anymore. They are all good drivers though...

Youre in Okinawa I guess, or are you talking about iwakuni?

Fergy, who just left, used to have a badass R31, RB26+T88 I belive, made gobs of hp, Josh just got a sunny truck and he's doing a full N/A tune on it, and Ken has a black R31 and runs in the1/8th Mile at Naha I belvie.

MkIISupra has alot of issues, gets very defensive and sticks up for people who dont need it, just let it be

Re: Team Hinga videos from Okinawa

I am in Iwakuni. I have been following some of the rants. Actually it is pretty entertaining!

I have a customer who put a T88 38D on his 32 GTR. He had the rom tuned so he could do stand still boosting up to 1.2 bar. Pretty impressive. I think he is nailing around 700 hp or so, but he has yet to dyno it so we can't be sure.
I know a few guys in OKI, but just about all the Velocity guys up here have been friends of mine for quite a while.

BTW MarkII, I told you where to find the parts in the altezza forum.... Do this:
Go to: http://world.altavista.com and bookmark it.
now, go to www.yahoo.co.jp. Select auctions, and follow the car link, then parts. Type in sxe10 or Gxe10 in a search. You can even type in altezza. This will give you a ton of parts. If you need more help, PM me as I can access and read the Japanese text side.

Thankyou Matada. But I am no longer interested in swapping a 1G-FE. I found out it is Iron block. So now I am interested in the 2AZ-FE. It is the 2.4L I4 in the current Toyota Camry. Dont laugh, but I am emailing some companies like Jun, already tried Toda (Asses as always.) I am seeing if they can make some rods, pistons, cams, gaskets, valves for bored heads, heads, and all those goodies. I will eithere go ITBs or 4 carbs. Thanks alought for looking though!

Thats cool. I talk to Joe Joe once in a blue moon, I know of Perkins, and I talk to Justin Taylor(red R32 GTS-T) and Ryan Stevens(CA18 Silvia), two ex-Kuni guys. Donno if you know any of them.

ae86power- With Fergys setup, I should hope he hangs with the drag crowd!

Supra-Why do you want the Camry engine? I rented a Camry last year, its a toruqeless dick. Who cares if an engine is Iron block, it just makes it stronger.
