Unhappy a sick 93 typhoon

i have a 93 typhoon with a blown motor dose anyone know if a stock 4.3l bottomend is the same or are the pistons and crank different?

thanks for any help you can give me.

As long as the block is 4.3l, no balance shaft and came from the
factory with a roller cam, then it is the same as a SyTy block.
Crankshaft is same as generic 4.3, but bearing caps are NOT. You need to re-use your nodular iron caps from your old engine or convert the new block to 4-bolt (splayed) caps. SyTy pistons are also different, but don't go with GM parts there. Get aftermarket pistons (8.35:1, TRW makes the cheapest I'm aware of) and Eagle rods.

sorry i know its been like 6 months since i been here but the typhoon took out #5 piston
