So I went to Cozumel, Mexico for a week last week and when I came home I noticed that my tires looked really weird, but that was 4 AM so I could care less.
The next day when I went out to my car I noticed this blue gunk that they put on new tires. I began to freak out because I hadn’t received anything from my father for Christmas yet. I ran inside and asked him if I have new tires or something. He told me to go take a look at the steering wheel. I went out to find I little poem that was written by my father and stepmom in the tune that Santa came late and was going to take my car the body shop to get the hood latched fixed. But he soon found out that the snowy Michigan weather was to much to handle for the balding tires on the rear wheels. So Santa decided to take a stop at the Discount Tire Co. and pick up some new BF Goodrich Radial T/A's. Santa then noticed that the "Low Coolant" light was illuminated so he stopped at the local mechanic to have a drain, also an oil change. The greasy man at the shop told Santa that the LX was apparently brewing up what looked like the be pea soup in the radiator and that Santa was lucky that he took it in today. I couldn't believe it. The parental units got me new tires, fixed the hood, oil change, and a radiator flush. I was jumping up for joy. Literally. Just thought I would share a little story, and piece of mind that one more Bird is rollin' right. lol.
