Unhappy front noise

hey all

i have a bit of a knock front the front end, i only
hear it when goin slow like in parkin lots when turnin up iasles
and in spots. it nothin real loud but its there. is this normal? this is my first front wheel drive car so i figured theres alot more crap up front than my f-150 or crown vic. its an 02 gp gt. it had the front wheel bearings replaced a few months ago because one was knocking a bit when turning corners, could this be related?

Re: front noise

From what I know this could very well be related. Sometimes if the bearings don't seat properly or just because they are new they can make a noise when going 5-about 15 mph. I would have your mechanic recheck the bearings

Re: front noise

Can you tell me if it happens when you are turning or going straight. I had the same thing for awhile. It usually only happened when I was turning at low speeds. In parking lots like yours. Anyway, it turned out to be a inner tie rod. My GT had about 170K on the odometer at the time. Got 194K right now. Still runs like a champ.

Re: front noise

if you hear when pulling outa your driveway it might be the cv cause if ur on any kind of slope change from the road to the driveway your axels flex at the CV joint
