The second version is freaky, lol.
It will look nice on a black background, but other than that I think you should use the first one for daily baisis.

I dont like the fact it's tilted too the left wich make the composition out of balance.
it just comes over a little bit weird IMO

I think that looks great.
I like the military style star in the middle. It is not too complicated so I think it could be easily printed. I examined it again and was wondering if the star might be too large? It seems to over power your text. Perhaps it is just me? al
