Dunno. both my coworker and one of the employees next door drive a gt, and neither one of them can drive anywhere in the snow, and complain about them breaking constantly. They get lousy gas milage and yet manage to have no effective performance.

But OMG they say "Mustang" on the back so they HAVE to be cool, right?

right?

You should re-edit this thread here. Out of all the Mustangs I see, 85% are V6, 14% are GT, and the other 1% are Cobras, Saleens, and Roushs.

If Ford just stopped making the V6 Mustang you wouldn't see very many on the street like you do today.

Ok, you just keep telling yourself that over and over.
Besides, anybody who hates a car is just jealous because they can't have it.

Re: to many mustang gt's and v6's

yea i want car that has 2k miles for 13k$, these cars have no resale, my rx7 had 65k and is 15 years old and has a better resale. just check N.A.D.A. Im not lying.and when i had my little 80ci rotary motor, my car was faster than 93-2003 gts. now tell me why i want a car that was called a womens car when it first came out.every 1 0f 20 cars on the road is a mustang. there so common and boring.just my opinion. I could buy 2 or more gt's a year but why? man im an asshole!

no offense but look where you live. like i said, subs of chicago, subs of boston, and tampa ive seen more mustang v6's and plan-jane gt's and at least over 100 cobras in the last couple of years. thats because they have no resale and the dealerships throw them at you.

Nice car, but kinda off-topic, eh? Obviously we aren't talking about classic stangs here!

People buy these mass produced cars because for the same reason people buy any mass produced cars - they are a hell of a lot cheaper. I can't think of but a few people here who own anything that wasn't mass produced. Some of us have some rather rare cars, but not custom built.

As for Mustangs. They're not on the road nearly as much as their F-150s are. Also, knowing that they bought a Ford means that they'll keep the economy moving as they'll have that sucker in the shop all the time until they give up and buy something else

Re: to many mustang gt's and v6's

whoa, somebody with a 96 honda civic is trying to bash a mustang because everyone has them? wow..I guess nobody has a honda civic right? I mean wow dude...you must be the only person in the world with a honda civic. and about the resale thing...i don't really care. I'd never sell my mustang. It seems like everyone in this thread who is like 'omgz mustangs suck' drive some kind of shitty beater car. Jealous are we?
