Angry air ride suspension problem

Ok heres my prob. I've recently aquired a very customized 00 dodge neon, im strongly regreting said aquirement. Amoung the list of mods is the bags, well ill just give you the story. First i just wanted to install some subs, simple enough since its already wired for an amp, so i went to work, well 15 mins later im done with no result, the subs arent hitting and the amp isnt on, i checked the fuse on the power wire and it seems fine. so fed up i unhooked everything and taped the wires up and planned on calling it a day, then i notice my tail lights were on and the key wasnt in the car, i tried to start the car and it wouldnt start, i found a switch to cut the tail lights off so thats fine. i replaced the starter relay and the all relays fuse, it crunk just fine yesterday, but today it sounds like the starters bad and it wont crank at all, more my question is why my bags wont raise, the compresser turns on just fine, but when i hit the switches the valves dont click or do anything at all. Ive asked a few ppl for help and they dont seem to be able to, i dont know if the power for the valves is the same as the compressor or what, but all the same im at a complete loss for ideas here any thing anyone can suggest would be helpful. better yet if you live near me please come help.

Re: air ride suspension problem

well where do ya live? you need to get a volt meter at auto zone for like $12 (you'll use it forever) and test all the power lines to the bag valves but if none of them work at all then the prob should be in the switch box but the voltmeter should be the only tool you need to fix this once you locate the open circuit just close it but get a friend to help and have him hit the switches while you test the individual wires (and did everything work when you bought it and do you have acces to the guy you got it from he might be able to help you easier or get a hold of the shop that did the instal cuz most people dont bag there cars themselves) but i would definatly say if none of the valves work the probs in the controller the power for the compressor and valves shouldnt be the same and each valve should should have its own fused power line but once again get a volt meter and let me know what you find out.
