jdm b16a bolts into 91gs? 2good2btrue

it sounds too good to be true. nippon motors inc has a b16a 2g vtec "performance engine" for $1050, engine only. i understand a wiring harness and ecu will be required for install. will it be that simple? the price list from nippon says this motor is about 170 hp. can this be that good of a deal? i saw the same motor from import auto salvage for about $2300 w/ tranny, but this site mentions linkage, lsd (what is lsd anyway) and knuckles and stuff. i want a vtec motor thats stronger/faster stock than my stock motor, which shot because it smokes bad (white), only two cylinders work and coolant stays low and oil is leaking. any advice?
